What's left to accomplish after you've won over 50 championships at the A-Rated, Regional, National and World levels, been the recipient of multiple "People's Choice" and "Judges Choice" awards, been on the cover of 3 equine publications, made a guest appearance on The History Channel, etc.? Simple - become immortalized in plastic!
In August of 1997, Peter Stone released a Limited Edition, Special Run model of UVM Valcour. It was offered exclusively through the Equestrian Shop in North Andover, MA, who hosted a "Kids Day" special event attended by Valcour, Peter Stone and the McDermotts. Hundreds of people from as far away as Kentucky stood in line to purchase a model and have it signed.
Ocassionally, we search on-line to find out what some of the models have been up to. Recently, we found a model horse photo competition that the Stone-Valcour had won - maybe there's a little of the real Valcour's DNA in the plastic!
